Our breakfast club will run from 7.45am to 8.45am and the after-school club runs will run from 3.15pm to 5.30pm, term time only.

Children from reception class up to Year 6 will be able to attend, but the clubs are not open to nursery-aged children or those who do not attend a school within the Cornerstone Academy Trust.

    An indoor space will be allocated to the breakfast and after-school club. The children will also have access to an outside space, with equipment that the children can enjoy. Activities will be organised by the staff on duty. Cereal and toast will also be offered to those children who attend breakfast club and snacks will be available to those who attend after-school club.

    The school will maintain the level of staffing in breakfast club and after-school club in accordance with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. A minimum of two members of staff will be present on site during the opening hours of the breakfast and after school clubs. A leadership team member will always be available, each day that the club is open and for its opening hours. The school has a first aid policy. A qualified paediatric first aider will also be present on site at all times. The school’s administration of medicines policy will be followed by the breakfast and after-school club. Where a member of staff is absent, the leadership team member will ensure replacement staff are found so adequate ratios of staff to children are maintained at all times.
